The BeOne Suite has been devised by the Nova Systems’ Research & Development division to manage the operations dealing with the sectors of international shipments, transport, customs and logistics. Versatility and integration are the main features of the BeOne’s WMS, our software for the advanced warehouse management.

The WMS is the BeOne’s software that guarantees an effective and innovative warehouse management.

Thanks to the BeOne’s Warehouse Management System (WMS), the handling and storage of materials can be controlled in third-party warehousing and it is possible to manage a transit warehouse and the Cross Docking operations.

The BeOne's WMS is the in-Cloud solution of Nova Systems that enables the user to manage the logistics flows transiting in/through the warehouse, from accepting the incoming goods to arranging the freight. At any moment, the user can know exactly where the goods are located inside the warehouse by consulting real-time the stock figures and getting updated statistics on stock movements. This is possible by the use of RF Terminals connected to the WMS that provide information to the warehouse operator and track every operation of the logistics flow.

In addition, thanks to the Nova Systems’ ERP, the operator can get automatically the customs declarations and the customs deposit load, as well as the unload, while shipping the goods to the bonded warehouse.

This solution has been created in order to improve the productivity and to reduce at the same time both errors and costs, by cutting the order placement timing.

Thanks to the complete integration with the other applications of the BeOne’s Suite, the warehouse can be managed from a commercial, fiscal and accounting point of view.

It is Precise

Thanks to the automatic detection and identification systems (barcode, RFID, WLAN) and the continuous crosschecking of data, there is no margin of error in articles management and in orders fulfillment. The software allows to produce entry/exit documents and to print independently labels with the greatest interest data for the individual logistics operator.

3PL – Third-Party Warehousing

BeOne’s WMS supports companies in the management of third-party warehousing. Thanks to BeOne’s WMS, it is possible to control the handling and storage of materials in the warehouse and process the transactions, including shipment, reception, reordering and collection in accordance with the new measures of Industry 4.0.

Nova Systems' management database enables the use of the resources inside the warehouse to be optimised, reducing to a minimum the movements of the operators, the classification of the goods according to rotation (ABC) and the definition of various order management strategies.

BeOne’s WMS uses Automatic Identification and Data Capture (AIDC), systems, such as barcodes, mobile terminals with modules for reading barcodes, WLANs and RFID identifiers to effectively monitor products and their positions.

BeOne’s WMS can be applied both in manned warehouses (operated with fork-lift trucks) and in automatic warehouses (with carriers) and in combinations of both.

Depositor Management

BeOne’s WMS enables the details of the Clients and/or Suppliers of the depositor to be uploaded manually or through EDI reception and to manage specific operating requirements for each depositor.

Warehouses Mapping Management

WMS’s functions include multi-branch and multi-warehouse management of the warehousing mapping at several levels, with iconographic personalisation of the areas and management of the Picking, Storage and Transit areas. In addition, it is possible to set up routes of general pick-up by individual warehouse/production area of customisable barcode label (both one- and two-dimensional) for management with RFT.

Management of the Allocations

In the area of allocations, BeOne's WMS allows the user to manage the following aspects: Allocations by their type, extent and physical position; the Classifications of warehouse areas and allocations for the storage of merchandise subject to the ADR regulations and the Seveso law; and the Allocations for the optimisation of the areas. In addition, it is possible at any time to change the definition of the picking routes based on any new operating requirements that may arise. At the same time, barcodes can be produced to order (both one- and two-dimensional) for management with RFT.

Articles Management

It is possible to upload the article details of the depositor manually or through EDI reception. The function enables the management of the specific operating aspects by Article / Family of Articles and, for example in the case of Food products, the expiry date with control limits for generic or specific input and output days by individual Recipient.

Inventories

The management of the inventories by warehouse/area/ depositor may also take place during the normal activity, without stopping the warehouse's operations. The function provides the automatic identification of any inventory changes with their highlighting, by video, and the automatic creation of the respective records of inventory correction. With BeOne’s WMS, it is also possible to manage the inventories in an integrated way with the RF terminals. The function provides indications, including graphical, regarding the state of progress of the inventory and the RTF missions can be addressed to a generic or a specific operator, or to several operators at the same time, depending on the operational requirements (area/allocation/article). The Warehouse Inventory missions can also be managed independently by the RFT operator, if appropriately authorised, with the production during the inventory mission, of an inventory label to be placed on the merchandise for a simpler identification of already-inventoried merchandise.

Supplier Orders Management

With BeOne’s WMS, it is possible to manage the Supplier order both in EDI mode and with user input and to control, in a guided way, the warehouse loads from Supplier Orders, with the possibility of forcing if so configured. Among the various possibilities, there is also the management, directly in the load phase, of the blocking of the merchandise or the entire order due to non-compliance. With the management of the supplier orders, customisable barcode labels can also be produced (both one- and two-dimensional) for the integrated management with RF Terminals for the control of the execution of the loads. The RFT missions can be addressed to a generic or a specific operator, or to several operators at the same time, depending on the operational requirements (area/allocation/article). The Load in Warehouse missions can also be managed independently by the RFT operator if appropriately authorised. Finally, the features include automatic and/or manual EDI reception of the Supplier Orders and the sending of the Supplier Order EDI Confirmation to the Depositor.

Warehouse Loads Management

This particular function of BeOne’s WMS makes it possible to take delivery with the blocking of the merchandise due to conditions of non-compliance of the goods/orders and the production of customisable barcode labels (both one- and two-dimensional) for the integrated management with RF Terminals for the control of the execution of the loads. The function provides the warehouse loads inputs management, with the control of supplier orders and the notification to the Depositor of any changes, including in EDI mode. As with the supplier order management, in the warehouse loads management the RTF missions can also be addressed to a generic or a specific operator, or to several operators at the same time, and the Warehouse Load missions can also be managed independently by the RFT operator if appropriately authorised. The function also provides the indication, in the merchandise load phase, of any exceeding of the threshold limits set with regard to the fire loads and the Seveso Law.

Transfers Management

The management of warehouse transfers and allocations takes place in an integrated way with the RF terminals for the control and execution of the transfers. The RFT missions can be addressed to a generic or a specific operator, or to several operators at the same time, depending on the operational requirements (area/allocation/article). The Goods Transfer missions can also be managed independently by the RFT operator if appropriately authorised.

Picking Areas Restocking Management

The management of the restocking of the picking area involves checking the existence of the articles, depending on the client orders. The function aids the user’s activity by making clear the need for restocking the picking area and displaying on the grid the supplier orders not yet processed, the client orders fulfilled and not fulfilled and the EDI client orders to be processed. BeOne’s WMS gives the option of setting a minimum quantity of stock for the picking allocations.

Client Orders Management

The management of the Client orders provides the control of the following aspects: management of Client orders both in EDI mode and with user input, with real-time management of use of the article quantities; downloads from Client Orders with the possibility of forcing if so configured; partial fulfilment of client orders; picking with LIFO / FIFO methods according to what is configured in the record of the automatic and/or manual EDI Reception articles; a single client order with multiple delivery destinations (Major Retail Chains). The function provides the fulfilment of the Client orders, with the generation of lists of individual or mass picking and the possibility of producing customisable barcode labels (both one- and two-dimensional) for the integrated management with RF Terminals for the control of the execution of the picking. The RFT missions can be addressed to a generic or a specific operator, or to several operators at the same time, depending on the operational requirements (area/allocation/article). It is also possible to send the EDI Client Order Confirmation to the Depositor. In EDI mode, the client orders are received without however committing the merchandise.

Assignment of nationality to the Merchandise

Thanks to the integration with BeOne’s Customs module, it is possible to carry out automatic registrations regarding the management of the assignment to a Foreign State of the merchandise in the warehouse. It is also possible to carry out automatic registrations regarding the Assignment of the merchandise to a foreign state.

Packages Management

With the management of the packages accompanying the merchandise, it is possible to memorise, for all warehouse handling, the types and the respective quantities of “packages” with which the merchandise is handled. These registrations can also be used for the charges to the depositor.

Interactive Inventory Control

With BeOne’s WMS, it is possible to interactively control and manage the inventories, both for the dynamic quantities and for the quantities used. In the quantities used, it is possible to find reference to the client/supplier orders that use the merchandise. The inventories of the articles can be consulted both as the total merchandise and the details of the lot/variant and allocation.

Management of Standard or Personalised Revenue Rates

Integration with the CRM module allows the WMS to draw up the subsequent settlement of the warehouse handling, with standard rates or specific to a depositor. In addition to the classic calculation method based on the inputs/outputs and stock of the merchandise, it is possible to calculate the rates on the number of Client/Supplier orders, order lines, allocations employed, packaging material used.

Authorisation management of BeOne's WMS module

The functions of BeOne’s WMS product, Management, Query and Not Enabled, can be configured by User Groups through the granting of appropriate authorisations.

Documents Issued

Production of documents, including with personalised layout, with the option of managing Depositors’ logos.

The documents can be produced in .pdf or .xls formats. In addition, the data contained on any display can be copied to .xls worksheets for further processing.

Transit Warehouse

The “short-term storage” of the goods is managed in the transit warehouse. BeOne’s WMS makes it possible to control the transit warehouse activity of incoming and outgoing goods. Goods may come into the warehouse from pick-ups management or with manual loads, for the subsequent shipment, or from the Import operational modules for subsequent deliveries. Outgoing goods can allow the management of even partial deliveries of the packages.
